How to Download & Install Windows 7 Ultimate
To create a bootable USB of Windows 7 Ultimate, you need to download the Windows USB/DVD Download tool.
Connect the USB with minimum 4GB storage space to your PC and download the tool and select “Run” once it is downloaded.
Now, download the ISO file from the link given above. The ISO file contains all necessary files for Windows 7 Ultimate. When you run the downloading tool, it creates a copy of the ISO image in the flash drive.
Go to the “Start” in Windows and select “Windows USB/DVD Download Tool” that will lie in the list of All Programs.
Now, select “Source File box” and type here the location (path) of the Windows ISO file you have downloaded. If you do not know the exact source, click “Browse” and look for the accurate folder.
Select “Next” once you have added the ISO file’s path.
Now, select “USB Device” from here. It will create a copy of the ISO file on the USB drive. (If you want to create a copy on a DVD, select “DVD” from here)
Here, select “Begin Copying” from the drop-down menu. It will start copying the ISO file to the USB drive.
Once the copying process is over, go to the root folder in the USB drive and double-click the “Setup.exe” to start the installation process.
Reboot your system and select “boot from CD/DVD” as it appears on the screen.
The system will start loading files.
Here, select the language, Time and Currency format, and Keyboard or input method. Click “Next” from here.
Click “Install Now” button to start the installation process.
Select “I accept the license terms” on the next page and hit “next” to move ahead.
In the next window, you will see two types of installations. If you want to install a fresh copy of Windows, select “Custom” from here. If you want to upgrade without losing your files and applications, go for the “Upgrade” option.
It will show you the drives. Select the drive where you want to install Windows 7 Ultimate and click “Next” to go ahead. It will show you a message that you want to delete the old Windows from this disk, confirm it by hitting “OK” from here.
Now the files will start copying, expanding and then installing. Wait for a while until it reaches 100%. In the installation process, the system will restart for several times. Don’t interrupt the setup and have some patience.
Now, enter the Product key of your Windows 7 Ultimate.
