TPG offers the LTE speedier data connection for the users. In simple words, if you want to browse something, the browsing speed will be up to 100MB/sec. It is incredibly awesome. But, you need to configure the APN settings in your device so that you could use the internet.

TPG Network Frequencies keep varying countrywide. However, TPG 3G Network maximum and minimum frequencies are UMTS 2100 MHz and UMTS 900. In the same way, TPG 4G Network maximum and minimum frequencies are LTE Band 5 850, LTE Band 1 2100. In some regions, the maximum 4G frequency varies and is noted as LTE Band 3 1800.

APN, the short form of “Access Point Name” is necessary to get internet access. You cannot access a network until you set your phone or device according to the frequencies and configurations provided by the network. So, it is unavoidable to get the APN settings for your device. Every device needs to be configured with different APN settings based on its OS.

Another important thing is that you need to follow the instructions very carefully to configure the APN Settings in your device. So, follow the guide below to configure the APN Settings for Internet & MMS.

(I am going to list all of the TPG APN Settings. But only a few among them will be compatible with your device. So, make sure, you have configured the right APN Settings. Here is it.

While adding the settings, you need to type very carefully. The letters case can make a big difference to the settings. For example, if your settings include “http,” type it as it is. Don’t try to type “Http” or “HTTP.” Both of them are wrong.

TPG APN Settings for Android Devices

If you are using an Android phone, you need to add different APN settings to access the internet. Here, I am providing you with the TPG APN settings for Android 9 Pie. If you are using another version of Android like Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Android 7 Nougat, etc., you can contact your ISPR to get the APN settings.

TPG APN Settings for Internet [For Android]

You need to tap the “Settings” on your phone.

Select the “Connections” option from here.

Tap the option “Mobile Network” to move ahead.

Here, you will see the “Access Point Names” category. Tap it and select “Add” to insert the new APN Settings for your TPG. If your device already has already a set value for Name as TPG 1, don’t change it. Move below to add other settings. If the “Name” field is empty, then add the TPG 1 here. Follow the instructions below to add the TPG APN settings for internet.

Go to the “Settings” on your phone.

Select the “Connections” category from there.

Now select the “Mobile Networks” category and tap the “Access Point Names” there.

It will show you the pre-set APN Settings with an option “Add” at the top right corner of the screen. Select this option to add the new APN Settings for MMS.

TPG APN Settings for Windows OS

If you are using a Windows phone or device, you need to configure a different APN Settings on it. The APN Settings for Android OS will not work on it. So, I am going to explain the APN Settings for your Windows device. All the settings below are for MS Windows 10. If you are using a device with a different version of Windows, contact to your ISPR to get APN Settings for it.

TPG APN Settings for Internet [Windows 10]

Select the “Settings” from the App list in your device.

Tap the option “Network & Wireless” from here.

It will show you the “Cellular & SIM” category. Select the “SIM card” you are using.

Now, tap the “Properties” option for the SIM card.

Here, you will see the “Internet APN” category. Select it and tap “Add an Internet APN” option.

Now, a new page for settings will open. Type the following information here.

In your Windows cellular, you need to tap “Settings” and select “Network & Wireless” category.

In this category, you need to select the SIM card you are using.

Go to its “Properties” where you will see the “MMS APN” option.

Tapping to this, you will find “Add an MMS APN” option to add the new settings.

TPG APN Settings for iOS Devices

The users of the iPhone and other iOS Devices need to configure different APN Settings to access the internet on their devices. The APN Settings for Windows or Android will not work for iOS devices. So, here are the APN settings for iOS 12. If you are using any other version of iOS like iOS 10, iOS 11, or iOS 8, etc., you need to contact your ISPR to get the APN Settings.

In your iPhone, you need to tap the “Settings” and select “Cellular” from the list of categories.

Make sure; the cellular data is active. If not, you cannot move ahead.

Now, tap the “Cellular Data Options” category.

Here, you need to select the “Cellular Data Network” from the list.

Tap the “Cellular Data” category and insert the following options in the given fields.

The users of Ubuntu devices need to follow the instructions below to add the APN settings.

Go to the “Network” category.

Tap “Cellular Settings” from here.

Select “Carrier & APN” from the given list of categories.

Swipe down from the top of the Home Screen of your BlackBerry device. It will show you the “Settings” app.
