How to Enhance or Reduce Desktop Screen Resolution in Windows 10

Your Windows 10’s screen resolution may not be correct, and you will be facing difficulties in reading the content easily or viewing the images clearly. 1: Click on the Windows button, and then tap/click on “Settings”.


2: Inside the Settings window, click on System.


3: Now click on “Display”. Alternatively, you can right-click anywhere on the desktop, and then tap on “Display Settings” from the contextual menu box.

4: Now, scroll down, and you will see a link labelled, “Advance Display Settings”. Click on this blue link!

5: On the next page that opens up right after you click on the link, click on the drop-down under the resolution heading. By default, 1366 x 768 is the recommended resolution, but you can change it as per your needs. In case, this resolution is set to lower values, you can always change it easily.


6: Whenever you’ll be changing the resolution, you will notice the box above has some text in it that changes just to show you the final result of the entire display. You will have a better idea of what you will get at a particular resolution. This makes it easier for you to identify the screen resolution that meets your needs the best.

7: Once the changes are made, there might be a delay of 5-10 seconds. During this, the system is adjusting to the new resolution settings.
